Hot cocoa Marble cookies

Ok so to start off with this is not your mommas cookie recipe. I’m not going to go on for four paragraphs about how I came up with this recipe, or who said what about how good it is. I’ll let my cooking do talking.
Now for this recipe you will need:

1cup of butter or margarine  (2 sticks in total, room temperature or warmed up)
1 1/3 cup of White Sugar
3 teaspoons of vanilla
2 large beaten eggs
2 1/4 cups bleached flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
At least 2 packets of hot cocoa mix

Alright so it all starts with a bowl, and some warm butter...

1 cup of butter (2 sticks of butter works fine)
1 1/3 cup of white sugar
3 teaspoons of vanilla
2 large eggs Stockholm syndrome style ;-)

Start by mixing all the above ingredients in a bowl. Once they are fully mixed grab another bowl and mix

2 1/4 cups of white flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon of salt

Sift all the above ingredients then slowly add them to your wet mixture. The dough should  be thick and slightly sticky. Grab yet another bowl, and pull aside about 1/3 of the dough and set it in the new bowl. This next part requires at least two packets of hot cocoa mix. The more chocolate flavor you want just add a packet or two extra to that little bowl and knead it into it. The dough will become gritty and dark brown in color.

Now comes the fun part make a half sized cookie dough ball with the yellow dough and grab a small portion of cocoa dough and twist them together. Place them 2-4 inches apart on the cookie sheets and bake at 350 degrees for 6-8 minutes. Allow to cool for a few minutes then enjoy.
Everyone loves cocoa hot so they are best enjoyed while warm.
